n 2004 VREID arose from the demise of the legendary Windir. Right away the band made an impact on the European metal scene, yet it wasnt until 2007 that the band took it to the next level by incorporating elements of Norwegian folk music and 70 s classic rock, while still keeping their Norwegian metal roots intact. Dubbed as Black and Roll by the press, VREID got rave reviews and massive European tours soon followed.Even with all of the success, no one was prepared for MILORG. Produced entirely by the band themselves, MILORG is a milestone in Norwegian metal and showcases a sound that s more mature and atmospheric, while remaining raw and powerful.
